TETRA: Say no to an unsafe technologyfind out more information about TETRA

Letter to Councillor George Stephens

To: Cllr George Stephens
20 March 2004

Dear Mr Stephens

On Monday the Executive of Worthing Borough Council is meeting, and will have on its agenda the matter of TETRA masts. Since the TETRA mast at Woodside Road is in your ward, the residents' committee "Worthing says NO to TETRA" is a little surprised that, unlike your colleagues Peter Green and Don Lissenburg, you have had little to say. We have also had many communications with Tim Loughton MP. Have we just left you out?

If you feel out of touch with your constituents in this matter, the best way to quickly acquaint yourself is to look at our website: www.worthingnotetra.org.uk

This explains the background, the issues, the science and most importantly, the communications (under "Letters") that have building up since the mast at Woodside Road was switched on.

We are expecting your support, not least because so many residents in the area are suffering real ill effects from the TETRA installation, and are finding O2 and the police authority somewhat impenetrable. We need you, Worthing Borough Council, Adur and Aurn Public Health, and West Sussex County Council together to ensure that the manifestations of ill health are propertly surveyed and their most likely source identified. Only by this means do we feel that this dangerous technology can be prevented from affecting the health of communities like ours throughout the UK.

yours sincerely

Andy Davidson
