Dear Mr Davidson
Timothy Walker has asked me to reply to your letter of 21 April enclosing your correspondence with the Home Office about your concerns about possible health effects from TETRA masts.
HSE does liaise closely with other Government departments on such issues and we often collaborate across Government on research. But the lead department for the roll-out of TETRA is, as you have identified, the Home Office, while the public health agenda, including research, is the responsibility of the Department of Health. I understand you have corresponded at length with both Departments, and I do not believe there is anything we in HSE can add.
I am sorry I am unable to be of further help.
Yours sincerely
Mike Shepherd
