TETRA: Say no to an unsafe technologyfind out more information about TETRA

email letter to Peter Sitch, O2 Airwave spokesman

To: Peter Sitch (Airwave)
Date: 17 March 2004

Peter

Since your colleague Sue Moore is away on holiday, I wonder if you would be so kind as to help me?

I queried the public response from O2 Airwave regarding its safety that "our transmissions are thousands of times below health and safety standards" and Sue was good enough to send me the "O2 factsheet on 17Hz".

Then last week I heard your Managing Director, Pete Richardson say on BBC Radio 4 how he wanted to help isolated pockets of protest, such as ours in Worthing, to understand.

Since I am genuinely trying to understand, I would like you to tell me where the attached description [replicated in our web page] of the intensity/pulse issue is incorrect. Since accuracy is so vitally important here, I should hate to be wrong in public by citing it.

regards

Andy Davidson
